Loved the shoes, very comfortable and stylish. However, the soles become slippery at some point whilst working in my working enviroment, making it in my case, not suitable for work, just casual wear.

My dad already got a pair recently and said they were excellent so far. He was in the army for 20 years, he also spent the last 20+ years working in the bush creating and maintaining firebreaks and is a volunteer fire fighter. So I felt he'd know what a god boot is. I got them because they look AWESOME... Also, I have a bad ankle from soccer, AFL, alcohol and refusing to wear braces. I wanted footwear I could wear anywhere in any setting and have some extra support for said ankle (like a boot🤔) and that aren't a 10 minute struggle to put on or off (the zippers solved that) or cost a fortune. They're robust and hardy work boots with steel cap toes so they're heavier then a casual boot made for fashion/casual wear. But, they are not as heavy as I thought they'd be and support my ankle an I get bonus toe protection and they look as good as fashion/casual oriented boots IMO P.S. This my opinion reguarding ankle support for MY ankle. They aren't orthotics or ankle brace replacements.
